Cross country skiing

Just 20 minutes from the Auron resort is the village of Saint-Dalmas le Selvage, a bastion of traditional charm nestled at an altitude of 1500m.

Nordic walking takes place in grandiose landscapes of unspoiled nature, two-thirds of which are within the Parc National du Mercantour.

Snow shoeing, ski touring and cross-country skiing (over 50km of marked and maintained slopes) and ice climbing are all wonderful ways to explore the area’s astounding natural flora and fauna.
